Service to the Citizen Awards
Recognizing the individuals and teams strengthening public services—and why Public Servants is proud to support their work.
Why we're supporting the Service to the Citizen Awards
Every day, thousands of public servants quietly improve how government works for millions of people. The 2026 Service to the Citizen Awards recognize those individuals and teams, and we're proud to support that mission as a challenge coin sponsor.

Each year, the awards uplift public servants and their partners who are delivering on the promise of government—reducing burden, building trust, and showing what’s possible when systems serve people well.
We believe this work deserves more than recognition—it deserves investment. Recognition matters. But so does demonstrating that the people doing this work deserve continued investment and support. That's why we're participating as a challenge coin sponsor again this year.
For decades, challenge coins have recognized shared service, celebrated milestones, and expressed appreciation across military and public service communities. Their work is felt far beyond the stage—in veterans receiving care, families applying for benefits, commuters relying on transit systems, emergency response teams coordinating during crises, and countless everyday interactions with government.
This year’s Champions of Change will be honored in Washington, D.C., but their work is felt far beyond the stage—in VA clinics, emergency response centers, benefits applications, transit systems, and more.
Celebrating excellence is one way to strengthen public service. Designing better public services that help more public servants succeed is ours.
At Public Servants, we work alongside governments and mission-driven organizations to improve how public services are designed, communicated, and delivered. Supporting the people advancing that work every day is a natural extension of our mission.
We'll be attending the ceremony in Washington, D.C., and look forward to celebrating this year's honorees alongside colleagues from across government and industry.
